The Women's Congressional Golf Association (WCGA) is a non-profit, non-partisan, non-political organization. The WCGA's primary goals are to foster fellowship and promote golfing opportunities among women who are current or former congressional staffers. WCGA members also aspire through charitable endeavors and community involvement to enhance athletic opportunities for all girls and women. The WCGA was founded in 1999, by United States Senate staffers Sandra S. King and Tamara Somerville.
