WCGA Scramble Begins!

It’s Summer Scramble Time!!

Okay, so maybe it’s passed time to get the Summer Scramble started since it’s already June and 90 degrees outside, but alas, better late than never.

So, what’s the Summer Scramble, you ask? Well, it’s this:

Get yourself a foursome, or just let me know that you want to play, and I can put you in a foursome, and find four times between now and the end of September (once we get everyone going, hopefully in the next two weeks, that will be over three full months!!) to play four rounds of 9 holes on the White Course at East Potomac Golf Course (Hains Point). Every time you get a round in, email me your score. I’ll keep a leaderboard on the WCGA website, and bragging rights will go to the winning foursome, and new friendships will go to all.

Rules of the Summer Scramble are as follows:

· Captain’s Choice ball format*
*Captain’s Choice Format: Requires all players to hit their own balls. After which, you must choose which ball is in a better position. Everyone takes her next shot from this position. This continues until the ball is in the hole, resulting in one score for the team.

· Four rounds of 9-holes are required

· All rounds must be played on the White Course at Haines Point and need to be completed by Sunday, September 28th.

· A drive from each player must be used at least once in each of the four rounds

· Submit scores to Special Events

· The top two teams at the end of the season will play for first place

If you have any questions email Special Events.

Good Luck and let the games begin!!
