About the event

WCGA invites you to celebrate our 25th anniversary!

In 1999, the Women's Congressional Golf Association (WCGA) was formed in Washington D.C. by Senate Staffers, Sandra S. King and Tamara Somerville. Over these 25 years, WCGA has not only encouraged hundreds of women to golf, but has brought together women of all political backgrounds on the course, forging lifelong relationships.

"More than just bringing women together, groups like the WCGA help to open the door for conversations and, through that, create the possibility for understanding. In today’s polarized political landscape, it’s impossible to put a value on such a group." (Golfing Women in the White House, Women's Golf Journal Oct. 2017)

We look forward to celebrating with you - this momentus anniversary - and our many anniversaries to come!
